President Donald Trump predicted the U.S. will pull out of Syria “very soon” on Thursday, saying that it’s time to “let other people take care” of the situation there.

“We’re knocking the hell out of ISIS. We’ll be coming out of Syria, like, very soon,” the president said during an event in Ohio. “Let the other people take care of it now.”

The president added: “We’re going to have 100 percent of the caliphate … we’re taking it all back.”

Trump complained about spending by the U.S. on Syria, but he also touted military advances against the Islamic State in the region.

“We got to get back to our country where we belong, where we want to be,” he said.

“We’re knocking the hell out of ISIS (Daesh). We’ll be coming out of Syria, like, very soon. Let the other people take care of it now. Very soon, very soon, we’re coming out. We’re going to have 100 percent of the caliphate, as they call it–sometimes referred to as land. We’re taking it all back–quickly, quickly,” Trump said to a cheering crowd.
